Regina Michalke was admitted to the bar in 1980; right from the start she - like all her partners - specialized in criminal law. Her main fields of activity are cases of (international) business crime (especially bribery) and environmental infringements.
She has become well known in the legal profession due to her numerous publications in the field of criminal law; widely acclaimed is her standard text on environmental criminal law, "Umweltstrafsachen", now published in 2022 in the 3rd edition (by C.F.Müller, Heidelberg).
Regina Michalke is a member and vice-president of the Executive Board of the Frankfurt Bar Association. She is also a member of the Committee on Human Rights of the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer (German Federal Bar) and of the Committee of Security Law Committee of the Deutsche AnwaltVerein (German Lawyer´s Association).
From 1995 to 2009, Regina Michalke was chairperson of the "Deutsche Strafverteidiger e.V." (Society of German Defense Counsels).
She acts as an ombudsperson for whistleblowers in the framework of Complaince for two large industrial companies.
